At 9:59AM apparatus was dispatched to the intersection of Maple Lane & Amberson Road for a land rescue. After several phone calls and radio transmissions between responding units, Franklin and Perry 911 centers, PA State Rangers, the original 911 caller, plus traveling from Franklin to Perry and back into Franklin again, and a miles long hike in the mountain the subject was found and treated. Crews carried the individual out by hand in a stokesbasket until meeting up with a UTV that continued the transport out to an awaiting ambulance. From start to finish the incident lasted 5 hours and 30 minutes.
