While the brush & tanker were over in Shippensburg and the rescue engine was down in Metal Township, units were dispatched for a mountain fire on the Timmons Mountain at 15:32 hours. Ambulance 12-8 & Utility 12 responded having to rely on mutual aid companies for water for extinguishment. Manpower from Co 12 and units from surrounding companies extinguished the fire and performed mop up, clearing at 18:14 hours.
