AUTO ACCIDENT
Apr 13th - FMFD responded to an auto accident on Tuesday. Units arrived to find one auto off the roadway into a field. The engine crew took car of hazards and EMS obtained a patient refusal.

TRACTOR FIRE
Apr 7th - On Wednesday evening FMFD responded to Spring Run Road West for a tractor fire. Units arrived to find a fully involved tractor. EMS then transported one burn victim to Chambersburg Hospital. (Picture courtesy of Christy Peterson)
MOBILE HOME FIRE
Apr 6th - On Tuesday morning FMFD was alerted to assist MTFD with a mobile home fire at 10891 Popular Ave. Engine 12-2 arrived and dropped a line from Ceder Ave. to the scene. Apr 5th - On Monday FMFD was alerted to 19167 Mountain Foot Road in Blair's Mills for a brush fire. Units arrived to find a small fire along the roadway. Units cleared shortly after.

TIMBER LANE
Apr 2nd - FMFD responded to 21960 Timber Lane in Amberson Estates for a brush fire. Units arrived to find approximately two acres on fire. Units quickly put a knock on the fire and returned to service.

FIRST DUE FIRE IN AMBERSON
Feb 15th - At 1410 hrs communications alerted the 12-03 box to 18549 Amberson Road for the house fire. Units arrived to find smoke from the second story windows and attack on sides "A & B". The working fire assignment was alerted and Deputy Chief 12 took command. Crews advances lines to the second floor and attic. The fire was under control in approximately 20 minutes. MUTUAL AID TO JUNIATA COUNTY & A FIRST DUE
Feb 14th - Sunday morning at 0114 hrs FMFD was alerted to Tuscarora Township 1357 McKinley Road for a house fire. Engine 12-2 and Tanker 12 responded to the scene. The engine crew assisted with containment and Tanker 12 assisted with water supply. While on the scene crews heard Franklin County Communications alerting the 12-01 box for the house fire at 24950 Back Road. Chief 12A and Engine 251 arrived to find a chimney fire. Engine 12-1 responded, as well as Engine 12-2 and Tanker 12 responded from the fire in Juniata County. Engine 53 was called to assist with chimney operations. Units cleared at 0636 hrs. OVERCASH AVE
Feb 12th - FMFD was alerted at 1248 hrs to transfer to Co.13 while they assisted on a building fire at 5042 Overcash Ave. Engine 12-2 transferred with a crew of 3 and was released at 0330 hrs. MUTUAL AID TO ST. THOMAS
Feb 7th - At 0638 hrs Tanker 12 was alerted to 3834 Jacks Mill Road for a garage fire. Tanker 12 arrived and assisted with water supply. Tanker 12 was released at 0941 hrs. (Picture courtesy of Co.17)
CRASH ON PATH VALLEY ROAD
Jan 28th - At 1817 hrs FMFD was alerted to the 19000 block of Path Valley Road for an auto accident with entrapment. Units arrived to find one auto off the road with a utility pole sitting in the passenger compartment of the auto. Power lines were hanging low and hindered rescue operations for a short time. A representative from Penelec arrived and took care of the power lines. Crews extricated one from the auto, and the other patient was ejected. Both patients were flown to Hershey Medical Center. Units on the scene: Engine 12-1, Engine 12-2, Amb. 12-8, Amb. 12-9, Amb. 21-8, Medic 84 & 100.
HOUSE FIRE IN FORT LOUDON
Jan 11th - Around 2330 hrs FMFD was requested to assist on the 9-06 box for the house fire. Engine 12-2 with a crew of 4 responded to 609 Path Valley Road. FMFD's crew was assigned R.I.T operations and then was reassigned to roof operations. Engine 12-2 was released at 0300.

TANKER AND ENGINE TO ASSIST 9
Dec 29th & 30th - On Tuesday and Wednesday FMFD assisted MMP&W with a house fire on Ward Drive in Warren Township. On Tuesday Tanker 12 responded and assisted with water supply, then transferred to Co.9. On Wednesday Engine 12-2 with a crew of 5 assisted with a rekindle.

ONE TRAPPED ON BACK ROAD
Dec 27th - On Sunday around 1pm FMFD was alerted to 19000 Back Road for an auto accident. Chief 12A arrived to find one auto that struck a tree with the patient trapped in the drivers compartment. SANTA CAN'T USE THE CHIMNEY
Dec 15th - On Tuesday FMFD was alerted to 22445 Path Valley Road for an auto into a house. Units arrived and confirmed dispatch. The car had struck the chimney and the house bringing the chimney down on the car. EMS transported one to the hospital and the engine cleared in about an hour.
MINOR ACCIDENT
Nov 19th - On Thursday FMFD was alerted to Spring Run Road West at the foot of the Neelyton Mountain for an auto accident. Cumberland Chief 147 was on the scene to find one auto into the guardrails with no injuries. FMFD cleared the call within the hour.

WORKING FIRE ASSIGNMENT
Nov 9th - On Monday afternoon PHFD was alerted to 8159 Upper Strasburg Road for a house fire. Units arrived to find heavy fire showing from a single family home. FMFD was alerted as part of the working fire assignment. Engine 12-2 arrived with a crew of 4 and assisted with fire control and overhaul.

STATION 4 ASSIST WITH ENTRAPMENT
Sept 18th - Around noon on Friday FMFD was alerted to Path Valley Road and Spring Run Road for an auto accident. Chief 12 arrived and advised 2 autos with entrapment. Engine 12-1, Engine 12-2, Ambulance 12-8 and Utility 44 responded to the scene. Crews worked together and the patient was removed and flown to Altoona Hospital.

AUTO ACCIDENT WITH ENTRAPMENT
Aug 27th - On Thursday morning FMFD was alerted to Spring Run Road West for an auto accident with entrapment. Units arrived to find an SUV hanging on the side of a hill with one trapped and one confined. Command requested an engine from Co.21 to assist with rescue operations and Ambulance 21-8 for the second patient. Engine 21-1 & Brush 12 handled the landing zone fro Life Lion and two were flown to Hershey Medical Center. Ambulance 11-8 transferred with no other calls. Units on the incident: Engine 12-1, 21-1, 21-2, Amb. 12-9, 21-8, M84.

MOBILE HOME FIRE
Aug 13th - Around 0530 FMFD units were alerted to Creek Road in Dublin Twp. Huntingdon County for a mobile home fire. Huntingdon Chief 14 arrived to find a fully involved mobile home. ATV ACCIDENT FLY OUT
Aug 6th - On Thursday evening FMFD units were alerted to the 24000 block of Path Valley Road for an ATV accident. Units arrived to find one patient in the roadway. CRASH WITH NO INJURIES
July 3rd - On Friday afternoon FMFD units were alerted to Juniata County Route 75 for an auto accident. While units were en route to the crash they found another accident in the 24000 block of Path Valley Road. Units stopped at the first accident which turned out to be the only accident. Units cleared in about an hour.

HOT ONE IN A FIELD
June 25th- FMFD was alerted to 20178 Path Valley Road for a tractor fire in a field. Units arrived to find a working fire. FMFD crews extinguished the fire and returned to service within the hour.

LONG NIGHT IN EAST WATERFORD
May 24th- Around 1am Engine 12-2 was alerted to transfer to Juniata Station 7. While enroute Engine 12-2 was advised command requested second alarm assignment for the building fire. Engine 12-2 arrived and assisted with water supply. Engine 12-1, Engine 12-2, Tanker 12, Brush 12, and Ambulance 12-9 were all on the scene all night. Units cleared around 7:30am. Units for the south side water supply: Eng 12-1, 12-2, 21-1, Tanker 12, 151, 251, ET-9, J83, 52, J63.
FLY OUT IN AMBERSON
May 20th- Around 1830 hrs FMFD was alerted to Amberson Road and Store Lane for a motorcycle accident. EMS arrived on the scene to find a patient in need of a trauma center. Engine 12-1 set up a landing zone. Life Lion arrived and transported the patient to Hershey Medical Center.

FATAL ACCIDENT ON THE TIMMONS
Apr 26th- At 0154 hrs FMFD was alerted to the Timmons Mountain for an auto accident. Units arrived to find one pickup on its side with a class 4 patient entrapped. After the cornors office and PSP finished their investigation, FMFD finished cleanup and returned at 0520 hrs.
CHIMNEY FIRE WITH CO.21
Apr 21st- On Tuesday evening FMFD was alerted to assist Metal Township Fire Co. with a chimney fire on Creek Road. Chief 21 arrived to find normal conditions from the outside. Command 21 held the box to Co.21 & Co.12 to assist with cleaning the chimney. Units cleared within an hour.

ANOTHER ONE
Mar 25th- Around 1300 hrs FMFD was alerted to Hill Road to find another field fire. Units were able to put a quick stop on the fire with assistance from Engine 21-1, and Brush 11.

MORE BRUSH FIRES
Mar 22nd- On Sunday evening FMFD was alerted to assist Company 21 with a field fire. Engine 12-2, Tanker 12, and Brush 12A responded to assist. When FMFD units arrived they found a working field fire moving rapidly towards a wooded area. Units were able to get ahead of the fire and put a stop on it.

DUAL FLY OUT
Mar 21st- At 2012 hrs FMFD and mutual aid EMS units were alerted to Spring Run Road East and Timmons Road. Units arrived to find two autos head on in the middle of the roadway. Ambulance 21-8, and Ambulance 12-9 handled the fly outs and Ambulance 12-8, and Ambulance 11-9 handled the ground transported to Chambersburg Hospital. Units cleared at 2252 hrs

HOUSE FIRE IN THE 14-6 BOX
Mar 20th- FMFD assisted Shade Gap Fire Co. with a house fire on Hollow Road. Units arrived from Co.14 to find a working fire. Engine 12-2, Tanker 12, and Ambulance 12-9 assisted on the scene with fire control and overhaul. (Photo's Courtesy of Keith Price)
BARN FIRE IN JUNIATA COUNTY
Mar 13th- At 2349 hrs FMFD was alerted to Route 75, two miles north of Waterloo. Engine 12-2 arrived and was assigned fire attack on the south side of the barn. Tanker 12 arrived and set up water supply operations. Tanker 12, Tanker 151 & 251 (NHFD) supplied Engine 12-2 who was supplying Mifflintown Truck 27. Engine 21-1 kept the tankers running with a fill site in Waterloo, 49,500 gallons of water was used on the south side before units were released at 0453 hrs.

"ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT FOREST FIRES"
Mar 11th- While units were out on another brush fire on Doylestown Road they noticed a large column of smoke in the area of Coons Road and Back Road. Units responded to check it out, once arriving in the area Chief 12 found a field fire heading into the mountain. Command requested 3 additional brush trucks and one additional tanker. Units had the fire under control in about 2 hours. Units- Eng 12-1, Eng 12-2, Brush 12, Tanker 12, Eng 21-1, Brush 14, Brush 11, Brush 15, Tanker 251, Amb 12-8, Forestry Department.

Mar 6th- FMFD units were alerted to assist Shade Gap Fire Co. with a brush fire in Neelyton around 1400 hrs. Engine 12-2, Brush 12, and Tanker 12 responded to Decorum Road to assist with the fire. While units were on the scene communications alerted the 12-02 box for a field fire on Back Road. Engine 12-2 cleared the scene and responded. Engine 12-1 responded from the station. Units had the fire under control in about 15 minutes.

DUAL ENTRAPMENT ON THE PIKE
Feb 21st- At 2400 hrs FMFD was alerted to the Pennsylvania Turn Pike for an auto accident with dual entrapment. Communications advised 2 autos involved. Chief 12 took rescue command and Chief 12A took EMS command. Ambulance 12-8, 12-9, & 21-8 transported to the landing zone established by Engine 21-2. All patients were flown to Hershey Medical Center via Life Lion Air Medical.

BUSY DAY IN JUNIATA COUNTY
Feb 18th- At 1240 hrs Tanker 12 was alerted to McKinley Road in Tuscarora Township box 7-2 for a house fire. Tanker 12 arrived and assisted with water supply, hauling two loads of water. Ambulance 12-8 was alerted to transfer to Co.22 (Lack-Tuscarora EMS). Engine 12-2 was then alerted to transfer to Co.7 (East Waterford Fire Co.). Units cleared around 1630 hrs.
LANDING ZONE AT 21'S HOUSE
Feb 6th- At 1008 hrs FMFD was alerted to assist with landing Stat MedEvac at the Metal Township Fire Company. Engine 12-1 handled the landing zone. Ambulance 21-8 met with the flight crew and transferred care . Engine 21-2 then arrived to assist after returning from another medical call.

EMS COVERS FOR 9 HOUSE
Jan 31st- Ambulance 12-9 transferred to MMP&W while they held their 40th annual awards banquet. For once EMS got to eat the entire meal before starting the night out. EMS started with a crash on Blairs Valley Road about two miles into Maryland. After that assisted on an accident in Metal Township, and finally while returning from the hospital ran a working garage fire with the assist on the knock down. "All that and none to Whitetail"

TANKER ASSIST ON FATAL FIRE
Jan 27th- Tanker 12 was one of many tankers that assisted on the 9-18A box Tuesday morning. Tanker 12 arrived and assisted with water supply by hauling 29,750 gallons of water.

MINOR ACCIDENT
Jan 26th- Around 2030 hrs FMFD was alerted to an auto accident in the 17000 block of Path Valley Road. Units arrived in the area to find nothing. After communications made a call back the caller was in the 24000 block of Path Valley Road. The caller gave the zip code for the address. Units arrived at the correct location to find two autos off the roadway with one into a house. Minor injuries were found.

9-56A BOX
Jan 13th- Tanker 12 was alerted to Buchanan Trail West to assist MMP&W with a building fire on top of the Mountain. Tanker 12 arrived and staged. Tanker 12 was then released and transferred to MMP&W along with Engine 45 (STA.4). Tanker 12 was released around 1930 hrs.
WORKING FIRE IN 14'S AREA
Jan 12th- At 1152 hrs FMFD was alerted to assist in Dublin Township Huntingdon County for the house fire. Units arrived to find a working fire from side "A". Engine 12-2 arrived and assisted with interior operations. Tanker 12 arrived and assisted with water supply.

FIELD FIRE'S TO START THE YEAR
Jan 1st- Around noon on Thursday FMFD was alerted to 21271 Back Road for a field fire. Units arrived to find a working field fire. Brush 12, and Engine 12-2 put a stop on the fire quickly. Units cleared shortly after.
